March Stamping Class

Oh WAIT until you feast your little eyes on our 3-D project for my March stamping class!!  I found the instructions on how to make THIS little gem...  It is a garden stake.  I know you are itching to work in the garden, and this little beauty will be the perfect finishing touches to your spring planting!  There is room on the top note die to add a greeting, or your last name, or even what you've planted in your garden!  I can't wait to put mine outside!!

Here are some close up pictures of the top and bottom pieces.

This entire project took me less than an hour to make!  Easy Peasy!  I purchased the supplies from the local home improvements store.  Aluminum flashing and the stakes cost me less than $3.00.   What an inexpensive gift.  And at that price you could make one for every person on your gift-giving list!

The Big Shot, a few dies, and some embossing folders are ALL you need to finish this project:
Here's the list:

113439      Big Shot
113468      Circle Scallop Bigz Die
113463      Top Note Die Bigz Die
114507      Beautiful Butterflies Bigz Die
119277      Elegant Lines Emboss Folder
117335      Perfect Polka Dots Emboss Folder
115964      Elegant Bouquet Emboss Folder
113144      Clear Rhinestone Brads
109111      Circle Ice Rhinestone Brads
108362      Crop-a-dile (for punching the holes)

If you'd like to see the video that Laura made on this, here's the link:  Metal Stake Video.

And if you live near Denver, Pennsylvania come and join my class on Sunday, March 11, 2011!  We have LOADS of fun!

Happy Stamping!
Carol

WOW, I love the aluminum flash card. I have never seen that before and what a great gift it would make. I made a project that holds markers and inks. Please feel free to visit my blog and follow it, I am now your newest follower. Hugs and God bless!
